My Story
“The woven design of sheer marvel;
Simply, jaw-dropping at its finest”
What she feels
Hand-woven threads have a soul of their own which radiates in infinity as they are engraved with this mosaic of scarlet blades and backed with the melancholy singular to blue. Borders of abstract bottle green art and silver provide her with unapologetic vigor.
This slub cotton saree is crafted with Pigment Handblock Sanganeri prints inspired by Ajrak block prints. Slub Cotton Saree is a comfortable cotton fabric resembling textures of linen fabric. Block printing emerged as an art because the process of using blocks to print vibrant and bold prints on a cloth is simple, and gives rise to the stunning design. Sanganeri print is a method of hand-block printing, and it originated in the village of Sanganer. Though it is an almost ancient method of block printing, people adore it even today.
