My Story
“Harvest smirched with a stance;
Attained within the domain of mire,
Rooted away as a raw semblance,
Yet defined with the spiritual essence of earth”
What she feels
An earthy mandala lined by grain and flowers of the desert, lovingly nurtured by the warmth of the sun let her grace shine. Just in time for harvest, this saree let her commemorates the tillers of the land, the sweet gifts of hard work.
This mul cotton saree is crafted with Pigment Handblock Sanganeri prints. Mul cotton is a buttery soft and delicately beautiful fabric that is very fine & makes draping a breeze. Block printing emerged as an art because the process of using blocks to print vibrant and bold prints on a cloth is simple, and gives rise to the stunning design. Sanganeri print is a method of hand-block printing, and it originated in the village of Sanganer. Though it is an almost ancient method of block printing, people adore it even today.
